This role is responsible for building the Gender thematic area within Pan-African Programs by setting strategic direction and engaging partners throughout program design and implementation.
The role is responsible for providing thematic expertise and facilitating understanding of gender dynamics and supporting establishment of responsive programmatic interventions at all levels of the Foundation.

Key Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, gender/women’s/youth studies, education-related field
Minimum of 15 years' relevant experience
7 years at a senior management level in a Pan African or Global role
Experience with women's and youth-serving organizations and networks in Africa
Experience in leading organizational policy development on safeguarding
