Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years law-enforcement related work experience
  • Current Carry Pistol License (CPL)
  • State of Michigan Driver's License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification within 90 days
  • First Aid certification within 90 days
  • PA 330 certification for armed officers
