Must-have

  • 8+ years in data or software engineering
  • 2+ years managing teams of 5+
  • Semantic Layering and Data Sharing expertise
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and semantic models
  • Strong proficiency with Snowflake and SQL
  • Experience owning on-call processes and incident management

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Spark, Python, and Snowpark
  • Familiarity with Cursor and Claude CLI/Code
  • Knowledge of Kibana and Airflow
  • Experience with DataDog or Monte Carlo observability
  • Background in data mesh patterns
  • Shift-left data governance champion
