This position digitizes images of human tissue from microscopic slides in support of diagnostic evaluations by anatomic pathologists.
The Telepathology Information Specialist I responds to requests for specimens, tissue blocks, slides, and maintains a detailed tracking system of all pathology materials and records.
The role supports departmental internal and external consultative services for continuum of patient care, legal requests, and specimen preservation requests.
