Job Summary

• Museum Interpreters are responsible for delivering engaging and effective interpretive programs that highlight local and worldwide biodiversity, UBC biodiversity research, and issues of biodiversity conservation.
• Specific duties include delivering interactive activities, providing customer service, safeguarding museum specimens, assisting with special events, and maintaining knowledge of museum collections.
• The role requires significant knowledge of natural history, interpersonal and interpretive skills, and poor performance will jeopardize the Museum's standing in the community.
