Job Summary
Supports physicians in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures, focusing on operation and quality control of radiological equipment.
Responsible for patient preparation, sterile technique during procedures, and processing X-ray images while ensuring accurate medical records.
Assists with inventory, ordering supplies, and acts as Radiation Safety Officer, monitoring radiation badges and conducting safety in-services.

Key Requirements
High School Diploma required
Associate’s Degree desirable
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure
Interventional Radiology certificate preferred
4 – 6 years’ related experience desirable
1 year experience preferred for Candidates with ARRT
Working knowledge of interventional equipment
Experience with interventional procedures
Knowledge and experience of sterile techniques
Knowledge of universal precautions
Successfully complete BLS certification
Experience with monitoring and maintaining inventory
