Job Summary
The Diabetes Services Educator provides patient education to patients in outpatient and community settings under the leadership of the Program Manager.
Candidates must possess a broad scope of knowledge to facilitate person-centered education for patient self-care management regarding acute and chronic medical needs.
Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification is preferred upon hire but becomes required within 24 months or after completing 1000 hours of patient education.
