The Automotive Service and Parts Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the preventative maintenance and service repair of fleet vehicles as well as overall inventorying, sourcing, ordering and distribution of parts, tires and other supplies to maximize fleet utilization and profitability for the City/District

Job Summary

  • The Automotive Service and Parts Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the preventative maintenance and service repair of fleet vehicles as well as overall inventorying, sourcing, ordering and distribution of parts, tires and other supplies to maximize fleet utilization and profitability for the City/District.
  • Manages performance of team members/employees against business plan by setting, communicating, monitoring and updating goals as needed for key performance indicators on a regular and consistent basis for service, including, but not limited to, technician productivity, percent out of service, warranty recovery versus parts and labor and overdue idle cars.
