The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) Juvenile Justice Unit (JJ) fund numerous juvenile programs throughout the state to ensure that children in Georgia who come into contact with the juvenile justice system has access to appropriate services and support.
The Planning & Policy Development Specialist will administer juvenile justice-specific grant programs, assist with drafting state and federal grant proposals, and track and report on the status of grant funds to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, public administration, social science, sociology, social work, humanities, or related field
Two years or more of related experience
Ability to develop and deliver presentations
Conduct research and prepare analysis
Strong writing and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word & Excel)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma/GED and completion of 90 quarter hours (60 semester hours) at an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
