This position works with families that have experienced child abuse or neglect identified due to domestic violence, aiming to keep the family safe and together in the home through case management and direct interventions.
The purpose of this position is to provide Family In-Home services to children and families to ensure a safe and permanent living arrangement for children, ideally within their own home.
Buncombe County offers in-office, hybrid, and remote positions, with remote employees needing to work within a 2-hour drive from the assigned Buncombe County facility.

Key Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work
Bachelor's degree in Social Work and 1 year experience
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, or Human Services and 2 years experience
Bachelor's degree in another field and 3 years experience
Valid North Carolina driver's license
BSW and Social Work Collaborative Students preferred
English/Spanish bi-lingual speakers preferred
NCDHHS Pre-Service Training: Child Welfare in North Carolina certificate preferred
