PATH is seeking a Polio Surveillance Consultant to enhance Ethiopia's polio and vaccine-preventable disease surveillance systems as part of the STRIDES Project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public health surveillance and strong analytical skills, capable of working in high-risk and underserved areas
Job Summary
The consultant will provide technical support to strengthen Ethiopia's polio and vaccine-preventable disease surveillance systems across human and animal health sectors.
Responsibilities include conducting active case searches, supervising surveillance activities, and developing improvement plans for underperforming border and remote areas.
The role requires close coordination with the Federal Ministry of Health, Ethiopian Public Health Institute, and GPEI partners to ensure timely public health action.
