The Arkansas Digital Newspaper Project Archivist will digitize over 100,000 pages of historic newspapers for the Library of Congress Chronicling America site.
This temporary full-time position is funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and will end in December 2027.

Key Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Four years specialized training or experience in library science or archival field
Valid Arkansas driver’s license
Ability to lift 40 lbs

Experience in archives, museums, or libraries preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Two years specialized training preferred
