The Termeer Center is a 22-chair, state of the art, First in Human Oncology Clinical Trials Unit where RNs are responsible for patient education, medication administration, symptom management, and documentation of toxicities for patients participating in clinical trials.
Nurses are supported by a strong Resource Nurse team and a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Scientist and a Nurse Director, with staffing levels allowing for meticulous data collection and strong patient relationships.
Opportunities for growth and development include becoming a Resource Nurse, precepting, unit-based practice improvement projects, presenting posters at conferences, and publishing.
