Job Summary

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible to provide direct resident care and medication administration and document care in compliance with regulatory and Extendicare Resident Health and Wellness standards and policies and procedures.
  • Key responsibilities include completing resident care assessments, ordering and administering drugs, facilitating resident/family education, and coordinating nursing team assignments.

  • Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and ability to delegate to unregulated care providers
  • Maintain competencies as per the governing College standards
  • Skills in use of computer and Microsoft Office applications
