The role requires participating in the development of written policies, maintaining the Nursing Service Procedures Manual, and assisting the Director of Nursing in planning resident discharge strategies.
Staffing duties include ensuring sufficient numbers of licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants are available for each shift and monitoring their performance against acceptable nursing standards.
