Job Summary

  • Serve as a lead resource within the BWXT Advanced Technologies Contracts Management organization and as advisor to company personnel at all levels to ensure that company strategic business and financial objectives are achieved throughout the contracting process.
  • Draft, negotiate and amend contracts and various other contractual agreements, resolving legal and contract related issues, supporting proposal efforts, supporting other cross-functional teams; and review of risks and response to/negotiate contracts and agreements that provide for the desired customer results and beneficial financial outcomes for the company.

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years relevant contract experience with Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years relevant contract experience with Master's degree
  • Direct experience managing U.S. Government contracts
  • Familiarity with government regulations
  • Understanding of federal cost principles
  • Proven experience managing FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ vehicles
  • Experience with all phases of contracting
  • Experience with contract change management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
