Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing facility's social service programs to meet resident's emotional and social needs.
  • Essential duties include assisting residents in achieving the highest practicable level of self-care, independence, and well-being, and providing consultation to staff and community agencies.
  • The role involves working with emotional problems, assisting residents and families with anxieties, and coordinating social service activities with other departments.

  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
