Key Requirements

  • 4 years security public safety experience
  • Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) Card
  • Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon (Taser) use within 90 days
  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) within two years
  • State of Illinois 20-hour Basic Security Officer course
