  • Install, test, or turn up telecommunications equipment
  • SONET, TDM, DWDM, IP, or Ethernet based equipment
  • Perform OTDR, Ethernet, BER, and SONET acceptance testing
  • Complete installation, decommissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Preventable and demand maintenance of network
  • Install, label, scope & clean, and test fiber optic patch cords
  • Inspect outdoor cabinets and construction sites
  • Follow all personal safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotation

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years Telecom Field experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to pass MVR check
  • Possession of a state-issued driver's license
  • Ability to have and maintain proper legal identification
  • Support background check requirements
  • Basic telecom and/or industry safety training
