  • This position is a Motor Fuel position that will be responsible for auditing for International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) and for International Registration Plan (IRP).
  • As an Auditor/Examiner 1, you will examine and analyze accounting records to determine the financial condition or tax compliance of assigned organizations or programs.
  • The Georgia Department of Revenue—the state’s primary tax collection agency—is seeking motivated candidates for the Entry Level Auditor/Examiner 1 position.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field
  • Three (3) years of professional job-related experience
  • Minimum of 4 accounting classes (12 hours)
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License
  • Filed Georgia state tax returns for the past five years
  • Lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs
  • In-state travel required
