Graduate internships will explore new areas of technology and help Autodesk understand how emerging technologies can be leveraged to improve creation and design processes.
Within the HCI and Visualization research group, you and your mentor(s) will arrive at a mutually agreed upon research project in the area of human-computer interaction or data visualization.
The role involves supporting research and design efforts, developing software prototypes, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and authoring research papers.

Must-have
Human-Computer Interaction specialization
develop software prototypes
conduct literature reviews
gather requirements and issues
build prototypes to test concepts
author a full research paper
present research externally and internally
Nice-to-have
experience with modern generative AI tools
experience with web development frameworks
experience interfacing with unique hardware
experience developing for AR or VR equipment
programming 3D graphics
ability to work with minimum supervision
Key Requirements
Currently enrolled in a PhD program
at least one academic term to complete post internship
