The Voyage Performance Specialist is responsible for safeguarding and maximizing voyage P&L through navigation compliance, vessel performance monitoring, and commercial contract risk management.
This role serves as the primary owner of vessel underperformance claims, leading the end-to-end process of identifying, quantifying, filing, and recovering claims within timebar.
Safety of navigation is the foundational principle, ensuring that all commercial optimization recommendations never compromise the safety of the vessel, crew, or cargo.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Minimum 3 years commercial shipping experience
Hands-on use of ZeroNorth routing tools
Proven track record managing vessel underperformance claims
Experience sailing as senior deck officer or Master
Ability to interpret commercial shipping contracts
Nice-to-have
Recent experience in vessel-owning entity or tanker pool
Strong influencing skills across technical and commercial teams
Familiarity with LPG, CPP, or DPP tanker markets
Experience working across multiple time zones
Understanding of port agency and procurement processes
