Job Summary
The 2nd Shift Quality Engineer provides on-shift quality engineering support for both Orion Assembly production operations and VAA-supplied modules, ensuring components meet GM specifications and customer expectations.
This role is critical in driving fast response, problem solving, and containment on the floor, acting as a key interface between Manufacturing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, VAA partners, and Product Engineering.
The position requires 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and comfort working 2nd shift with hands-on production floor support.
