Job Summary
Lead and manage staff involved in the planning, design and construction of the City’s municipal infrastructure along with leading the delivery of multi-year projects and programs through various delivery models.
Act as a technical expert for Toronto Water and Transportation Services, overseeing the planning, development and implementation of engineering designs and construction associated with the City’s Basement Flooding Protection Program, Stormwater Management and rehabilitation and upgrading of Trunk Sewers and Transmission Mains.
Manage, motivate and train the unit’s staff, and supervise the day-to-day operation of all assigned staff – from scheduling, assigning and reviewing work, to monitoring and evaluating staff performance.
