Job Summary

  • The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs patient care tasks and duties which do not require a license and is a trained member of the unit based team who supports the on-going delivery of care as identified by the multidisciplinary patient management team.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • completion of patient care technician course within 3 months of hire
  • ability to lift 100 lbs. to waist height
  • Certification as a nursing assistant or military corpsman
  • 1 year Patient care experience in acute care setting
