Job Summary

The role involves minimizing ore loss, dilution, and misclassification through daily ore delineation, communication with mining and process teams, and on-shift leadership of ore control support teams.
Candidates will continuously develop technical mine geology skills and provide daily operational reports while working in a collaborative and challenging environment.

Must-have
Daily field ore delineation and control
On-shift leadership and supervision
Communication with key stakeholders
Field assessments and ground-truthing
Operational experience in open pit deposits
Strong general IT skills
Nice-to-have
Proactive and reliable work ethic
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent team ethic and leadership potential
Attention to detail and methodical approach
Willingness to do shift work
Ability to develop rapport with stakeholders
Key Requirements
Tertiary Qualification in Geoscience from recognized Zambian University
Full Grade Twelve certificate (12)
Full manual driving licence and driving experience
Familiarity with Central African Copperbelt Geology and metallogeny
