Job Summary
The primary purpose is to plan, coordinate, and direct overall activities related to the construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of state-owned buildings, facilities, grounds, and equipment.
This role involves managing and supervising construction/maintenance technicians and licensed trades specialists, as well as preparing specifications, evaluating bids, and reviewing plans.
Employees at this level are responsible for the supervision of staff and a general maintenance program which is large in size and scope, requiring frequent travel within and without the State.
