Job Summary

  • The Endoscopy Technician reports to the Nurse Manager and is responsible for assisting surgeons/gastroenterologists/physicians and other medical staff in preparation and performance of surgical/endoscopy procedures by processing and furnishing sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment and services for the care and treatment of patients.
  • Provide technical support and assistance during GI procedures, including but not limited to endoscopies, colonoscopies, and other diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
  • Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures related to GI procedures, infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
