Job Summary
The EHS Lead provides direction and hands-on leadership for safety, compliance, and risk management at the Battery Cell Development Center (BCDC), enabling safe, reliable, and efficient development operations aligned to GM’s electrification strategy.
This role integrates EV and high-voltage requirements into site EHS systems, stewards critical safety controls, and leads the site risk assessment program, ensuring timely mitigation plans.
The EHS Lead establishes strategy and routines for EHS data collection and analytics, builds Business Intelligence tools, and owns KPI definition and performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
