The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is seeking a County Extension Agent specializing in Family & Consumer Sciences/4-H to develop and implement educational programs that enhance community well-being. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong community engagement skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with local organizations and volunteers.

Job Summary
Conducts practical, community-based educational programs to empower individuals, families, and communities in the area of nutrition, family well-being, health, food safety, economic self-sufficiency and Youth Development.
Develops and executes an annual action plan based on issues identified by the programmatic Subcommittee(s) and personal observations, planning, delivering and teaching educational programs, demonstrations, and activities that address the needs of the county’s clientele.
Employs effective evaluation techniques to measure the impact of county FCS and 4-H programs and compiles and communicates program results to the county advisory committee, Extension Council (if applicable), and county and state government officials on an annual basis.
