The Advanced Surgical Consultant will support cardiac surgeons and heart failure cardiologists by training, educating, and providing device expertise on the Impella product portfolio to improve patient outcomes.
The role involves close collaboration with multiple internal teams and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders while participating in on-call rotations for emergent patient care.

Must-have
Cardiac surgery and OR protocol expertise
Direct patient management in cardiac ICU or OR
Training and education on Impella device
Collaboration with clinical and commercial teams
On call support for emergent patient care
Nice-to-have
Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills
Experience delivering clinical demonstrations
Ability to advance sales process
Hands on Impella support experience
ECMO patient care experience
Key Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 5+ years cardiac patient care
Or advanced degree with 3+ years cardiac patient support
Direct experience in cardiac transplant, ECMO, or LVAD center CVICU or CVOR
