Job Summary
Assists in the examination and treatment of patients, performing basic skills in treatments and procedures, and may be involved in other areas of medical office support.
Responsibilities include interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, updating patient information in the EMR, preparing treatment rooms, assisting providers with examinations and procedures, and managing medical supplies.
The role requires a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent healthcare experience, with current BLS certification, and encourages further certification within three years of employment.
