Job Summary

• The Behavioral & Mental Health Therapist I will participate in a model of care centered around integrated, multidisciplinary services, with seamless collaborations with psychiatry, psychology, social work, medical specialties, and other behavioral and mental health disciplines.
• The BMH therapist will provide evidence based individual and group therapy focused on a broad range of conditions, including anxiety, mood disorders, physical and somatic conditions.
• The focus is on physical, emotional, social, and existential suffering, family coping, sibling challenges, anticipatory grief, end-of-life, hospice coordination, and bereavement.

Key Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy
• Unrestricted license in the state of Georgia (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
• 3 years supervised experience with children and adolescents in a medical setting
• LCSW certification is required for Children’s at Hughes Spalding
