Job Summary

  • The Unit Service Technician provides a broad range of care and services to Patients, including but not to limited to EKG, phlebotomy, equipment cleaning, and stocking of rooms under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • The Unit Service Technician performs a wide range of secretarial duties, including but not limited to organizing paperwork, answering the phone, paging, and receiving of ED patients into electronic medical record.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic Life Support [BLS] - HR Only
  • Certified Nurse Aide [CNA] - State Specific
  • Emergency Medical Technician [EMT License] - HR Only
  • ED: medical technician or patient care assistant experience preferred
  • ICU: 1 year medical technician or patient care assistant experience
