Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to maintain resident medical records and health information systems in strict accordance with current federal and state guidelines.
  • Employees are responsible for retrieving, assembling, checking, and filing resident charts while ensuring incomplete records are corrected before final storage.
  • Staff must possess the ability to make independent decisions, deal tactfully with personnel and residents, and report any suspected fraud or unauthorized access attempts.
