Job Summary

  • The PIQA program supports and educates Driscoll Health Plan (DHP) Population Health staff to maintain compliance with Federal, State, Regulatory, and accrediting body standards.
  • The PIQA Specialist uses tools to compare current work with evidence-based population health standards of practice and Service Coordination strategies, including chart reviews and monitoring telephonic interactions.
  • The incumbent will engage with clinical teams to improve outcomes and PH Operations through daily review and analysis, collaboration, and active participation to effectively improve documentation.

Key Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in nursing

  • Health plan or healthcare experience
  • STAR Kids STAR Medicaid experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse Licensure in Texas
