Job Summary

  • The Critical Response RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, comprehensive patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team and responding promptly to complex, high-acuity cases.
  • As an active member of the clinical leadership team, the Critical Response RN participates in clinical decision-making and manages deteriorating patients alongside medical teams, responding to all Rapid Response Team calls, including Code Blue, Code Stroke, and other consultations.
  • The Critical Response RN contributes to the development of clinical skills and knowledge among nursing staff and other health professionals, participates in the assessment of clinical competencies, and assists in emergency situations and unexpected clinical demands across all areas when available.
