Job Summary
The Hospital Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that all Joint Commission guidelines for the Physical Environment of Care standards at the assigned hospital and/or hospital based clinics remain compliant.
This includes annual review and completion of the Periodic Performance Review (PPR), which include the following Joint Commission Chapters: Life Safety (LS), Emergency Management (EM), and Environment of Care (EOC).
