Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 6+ years catastrophe research experience
  • PhD or Master's in Climate Science or Statistics
  • Hands-on knowledge of RMS models
  • Experience writing model reviews for regulators
  • Strong programming skills in R, Python, SQL

  • Experience at Underwriting Company or Broker
  • Excellent communication with non-technical audiences
  • Thought leadership on climate variability topics

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in catastrophe research or model development

  • Demonstrated experience presenting to regulators like PRA and Lloyd's
