Assist the Physical Therapist with patient-related activities and provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and established treatment plans.
Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per PT Board and facility guidelines, and assist in maintaining the therapy department and treatment areas.
Communicate with the supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress, concerns, and treatment plans, and educate residents, families, and staff on maintenance programs.
