Job Summary

• The Social Performance Director will lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the company’s social performance strategy across the operations in Brazil.
• This role is responsible for aligning local initiatives with global standards and the company’s corporate sustainability and ESG commitments, with a strong focus on human rights, Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC), land access, social investment, stakeholder engagement, impact management.

Key Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Anthropology, International Development, Environmental Management, or related field
• Solid experience as a senior leader in H&S management
• Fluency in English / advanced English
• Proven expertise in applying IFC Performance Standards, FPIC, human rights frameworks
• Work travel availability
• Direct experience managing land access, resettlement, Indigenous Peoples engagement, and social investment programs in Brazil
• Experience working in a matrixed, multinational environment
