Job Summary
The Monitor Technician ensures patient safety through continuous surveillance of cardiac rhythms at the Central Monitor Station, recognizing, recording, and reporting dysrhythmias under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities include assisting with rhythm interpretation, troubleshooting technical monitor issues, admitting and discharging patients in the ECG monitoring system, and maintaining accurate electronic patient reports.
This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to patient satisfaction and safety in a fast-paced environment.
