The role involves caring for critically ill neonates to adults with congenital heart disease requiring complex interventions such as ECMO and mechanical ventilation.
Candidates must be able to work rotating shifts covering 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays and call duties.
The position requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and high-quality patient outcomes in the Pediatric Institute.

Must-have
Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit experience
Management of vasoactive support and ECMO
Collaboration with physicians in high-acuity settings
Ability to perform specialized procedures like thoracentesis
Rotating shift availability including nights and weekends
Nice-to-have
Experience with Ventricular Assist Devices
Previous APP experience preferred
Willingness to serve as clinical preceptor
Strong ethical behavior and compassion
Participation in quality monitoring initiatives
Key Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
Current state licensure as APRN or PA
National certification (ANCC or NCCPA)
Two years of clinical advanced practice experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification
Prescriptive authority eligibility within six months
