The primary purpose of this job is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing staff and the Director of Nursing Services.
Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting oral and/or topical medications, and reporting any errors or reactions promptly.
The role requires adherence to facility policies and procedures, maintaining resident confidentiality, and participating in quality assurance programs to improve the medication process.
