Job Summary
The Penn State Athletics Strategic Communications & Social Media Department is seeking motivated students to gain experience in athletics media relations, communications, public relations, social media, and content capture/generation.
Student assistants will work various events across all 31 Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics programs, performing tasks such as recording statistics, assisting media, transcribing press conferences, and managing social media accounts.
Responsibilities include research projects, contributing feature stories and press releases, attending practices to capture student-athlete content, and telling student-athlete stories through various media.
