Job Summary

  • The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services provides services that promote and improve agriculture, agribusiness, and forests; protect consumers and businesses; and conserve farmland and natural resources for the prosperity of all North Carolinians.
  • The Food Distribution Division contributes to the nutritional wellbeing of the citizens of North Carolina by distributing USDA Foods to eligible Recipient Agencies.
  • This position involves loading and unloading USDA Foods in a Food Distribution Warehouse and maintaining proper storage practices while working in freezer and cooler environments.
