Job Summary

  • This job performs mammography procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
  • Reviews patient images and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results, taking appropriate action to resolve them, including repositioning the patient and repeating the procedure.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance, including performing appropriate quality control procedures on equipment and participating in ensuring compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) regulations.
