Job Summary
Provides and compounds prescribed medications, drugs, IV mixtures, and other pharmaceutical according to professional standards and practices.
Develops and implements new policies and/or protocols for drug use or handling and/or treatment protocols for implementation or review in a specialty area of pharmacy practice.
Prepares or supervises preparation and accurate dispensing of medication to outpatients, including unit dose dispensing, IV admixture, chemotherapy, TPN, investigational drugs, other sterile products and extemporaneous preparations.
