The Voyage Performance Specialist safeguards and maximizes voyage P&L by balancing commercial optimization with the foundational principle of safe navigation.
This role serves as the primary owner for vessel underperformance claims, leading the end-to-end process of identification, quantification, and recovery within strict timebars.
The Specialist acts as the Person in Charge for key commercial contracts including scrubber provisions, deslop, demucking, and towage, ensuring early risk identification and enforcement.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Minimum 3 years commercial shipping experience
Hands-on use of ZeroNorth routing tools
Proven track record managing vessel underperformance claims
Experience sailing as senior deck officer or equivalent
Ability to interpret commercial shipping contracts
Nice-to-have
Recent experience in vessel-owning entity or tanker pool
Experience sailing as Master
Strong influencing skills across technical and commercial teams
Familiarity with LPG, CPP, or DPP tanker markets
Experience working across multiple regions and time zones
Key Requirements
3+ years in commercial shipping or voyage operations
Senior deck officer or equivalent sailing background
