Leidos UK is seeking a Department Manager for Software Development in Huntsville, AL, who will lead and manage a team of over 90 software development professionals. Job Summary

  • Successful candidate will be responsible for leading and serving the organizational needs in the area of software development for Defense Systems products.
  • The candidate will create SW road map and maintain a 5 year projection of process improvements that incrementally improves the ability of the SW dept to address increasing demand in scaling, technical, process, and tool requirements.
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

  • 5+ years of engineering management experience
  • Must possess or be able to obtain SECRET clearance
